*Candidates must be at least fifteen and a half years old to get a Learner’s Permit
*Learner’s Permit must be held for 180 days
*Least number of overseen driving hours; Drivers below 18 years of age should pass a certified driver’s educational program that has behind-the-wheel practice.
*Candidates must be at least sixteen years old to get a Driver’s License
*Candidates must take a Road Test
*There are guidelines for unmonitored driving. Supervising drivers that are licensed and at least twenty-one years old must go with Learner Permits holders from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The accompanying driver must be the parent or guardian. Provisional license holders must drive with a licensed parent or guardian between 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM unless they are driving to school or work.
*There are passenger guidelines. Provisional license holders can have just one non-immediate family member below 18 years old as passenger during the time between 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM unless they are with a parent or guardian.
*Candidates under 18 need driver’s education.
