How do I know if Al's Safe Driving Academy is licensed by Wisconsin's DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses?
While we do include Al's Safe Driving Academy's contact information in our driving school directory, we cannot say with certainty as to whether Al's Safe Driving Academy is licensed by the State of Wisconsin.  We recommend that you either contact Al's Safe Driving Academy directly or possibly the Wisconsin DMV to find out if Al's Safe Driving Academy is a certified driver training school.
Somebody told me that I can skip out of attending a driver training school if my parents give me behind-the-wheel training instead. Is that permissible in Wisconsin?
Each state has its own laws regarding behind-the-wheel training.  Some states will allow parentally-supervised driver training as a substitute for taking a behind-the-wheel training course which is taught by a professional driving instructor.  However, not all states allow this.  You should contact the Wisconsin DMV to find out for sure.
What if I don't know how to drive a manual-shift automobile? Does Al's Safe Driving Academy have automatic-shift vehicles that I can drive when I do my behind-the-wheel training?
If you're taking a Lodi Wisconsin behind-the-wheel training class, chances are you don't know how to drive ANY vehicle yet-- stick or automatic.  However, if you prefer an automatic vehicle then you should tell Al's Safe Driving Academy that prior to registering for the course in order to make sure they can accommodate you.
What happens to those of us who live in a rural area? Will Al's Safe Driving Academy include instruction on how to drive on dirt roads, mountain roads, and other bumpy terrain?
If you live in a remote location, there is a high probability that a local driving school like Al's Safe Driving Academy will either want--or even be required--to tailor their instruction towards driving safely in your particular area.
I just turned 14 years old. Am I eligible to apply for my learner's permit in Wisconsin?
Probably not.  The minimum age requirement for holding a learners permit in most states is 15 1/2.  You should contact the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school such as Al's Safe Driving Academy to find out more information about the minimum age requirement in Wisconsin.
Do I have to take a Lodi Wisconsin classroom or online drivers education course before I can sign up to take a behind-the-wheel training course through Al's Safe Driving Academy?
This requirement varies by state but most states do mandate pre-licensed drivers to take BOTH a classroom-based defensive driving course (generally 30 hours in length) AND a behind-the-wheel training course.  You should ask Al's Safe Driving Academy if they offer one or both programs.
Wisconsin's DMV has told me that I need to take a driver training course. Do you know if Al's Safe Driving Academy offers this course or not?

What are the prerequisites in Lodi Wisconsin for getting a drivers license?
It depends on your state's laws, however in many states, teen-agers must complete both a drivers education classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course.  Al's Safe Driving Academy may offer an approved driver training course which you could take.  Please contact Al's Safe Driving Academy for information regarding their available classes and how to go about signing up for them.
