Is Hernandez Driving School an approved driving school in Texas?
Just because a driving school appears on our directory of driver training institutions, we cannot guarantee that they are fully licensed to offer behind-the-wheel training courses in Texas.  We highly recommend that you contact Hernandez Driving School directly or the Texas DMV to find out for sure if Hernandez Driving School offers hands-on driving courses that have been approved by the State of Texas.
Do I have to take a behind-the-wheel training course? Can't my parents just give me my behind-the-wheel training?
There are some states that do permit parents or guardians to provide their teen-aged kids' required behind-the-wheel training in order to obtain a driver's license.  However many states do not allow any type of substitution for taking a professionally-taught driver training course.  We suggest you contact your state's DMV to find out what the laws are in your state regarding hands-on driving instruction.
Do I need to tell Hernandez Driving School that I need to train with an automatic-shift automobile? I don't know how to drive a stick-shift automobile.
Most new drivers don't know how to operate either a manual-shift OR and automatic-shift car!  We recommend that you ask Hernandez Driving School if you can complete your driver training using an automatic-shift automobile before you sign up to take their driver training course.
