Crusin Driving SchoolFAQ's

Can you tell me if Crusin Driving School is a licensed driver training school in Texas?
Although Crusin Driving School is listed on our list of driving schools in your area, we are unable to say with certainty as to whether they are currently approved to teach behind-the-wheel training courses in Texas.  We recommend either calling Crusin Driving School directly or the Texas DMV to find out whether or not Crusin Driving School offers behind-the-wheel training courses that are state-approved.
Somebody told me that I can skip out of attending a driver training school if my parents give me behind-the-wheel training instead. Is that permissible in Texas?
Each state has its own rules regarding driver training.  Some states will allow parentally-supervised behind-the-wheel training as a substitute for enrolling in a driver training course which is taught by a professional driving instructor.  However, not all states allow this.  You should contact the Texas DMV to find out for sure.
Do you know if Crusin Driving School will let me take my behind-the-wheel training using an automatic-shift vehicle? I don't know anything about using a manual-shift.
Considering you're a brand new driver, you probably don't know a whole lot about driving ANY type of vehicle, be it a stick OR an automatic!  Nevertheless, if you have a preference, you probably should contact Crusin Driving School and see if they can accommodate you before signing up to take their behind-the-wheel training course.
I live in a rural area, that has a lot of dirt roads and rugged terrain. Will Crusin Driving School train me how to drive in BOTH city AND rural environments?
If you live in a rural area, chances are very good that a local driving school like Crusin Driving School will want you to be taught how to drive safely on the local area's terrain.
I'm turning 14 in a few days. Can I get a instruction permit to drive in Texas after my 14th birthday?
Most likely, no.  Most states (though not all) have laws which require that you be at least 15 or 15 1/2 before to be eligible to apply for a learner's permit.  Nevertheless, you may wish to contact the Texas DMV office or a Texas-certified driving school such as Crusin Driving School to find out for certain what the minimum driving age is in your local area.
Do I have to take a Magnolia Texas classroom or online drivers education course before I can enroll in a behind-the-wheel training course through Crusin Driving School?
This requirement varies by state but most states do mandate pre-licensed drivers to take BOTH a classroom-based driver education course (generally 30 hours in length) AND a driver training course.  You should ask Crusin Driving School if they offer one or both programs.
I am looking to register for a Magnolia Texas drivers education course. Can Crusin Driving School assist me with this?

I live in Magnolia Texas. What requirements must I meet to be able to get my first Texas driver's license?
It depends on the particular laws of Texas, but most states require teen-aged first-time license applicants to successfully complete both a safe driving classroom course and a driver training course.  Crusin Driving School may offer courses which would meet the driver training requirement, however you will need to contact them directly to find out exactly what types of courses they offer.
Do I have to take a Magnolia Texas driver training course in order to get a driver's license?
