Jack Driving SchoolFAQ's

Is Jack Driving School certified by the New Hampshire DMV to offer driver training courses?
Although we include Jack Driving School in our directory of driving schools for Deerfield New Hampshire, we cannot make any assurances about whether or not Jack Driving School is certified by the New Hampshire DMV.  You should contact Jack Driving School directly and ask them if you are thinking about enrolling in their Deerfield New Hampshire behind-the-wheel training class.
I heard that parents can fill the role of driving supervisor in New Hampshire, so taking a Deerfield driving school course like the one Jack Driving School offers is not necessary. Is that true?
You should contact the New Hampshire DMV or a licensed driving school like Jack Driving School and ask them.  While parent-taught driving instruction is permitted in some states, many states do NOT allow it.
Do I need to tell Jack Driving School that I need to train with an automatic-shift vehicle? I don't know how to drive a manual-shift car.
Most new drivers don't know how to operate either a stick-shift OR and automatic-shift automobile!  We recommend that you ask Jack Driving School if you can complete your driver training using an automatic-shift car before you sign up to take their driver training course.
Since I live way out in the country where driving on unpaved roads and rugged terrain is the norm, will Jack Driving School be able to teach me how to drive in a rural environment? Or do they only prepare you for city-driving?
Since you live in a remote location, odds are that any local driving school in your area such as Jack Driving School will want you to be able to drive safely on unpaved roads and rugged terrain.  We recommend that you contact Jack Driving School directly to find out exactly what they offer.
If I'm 14, can I get a driver's permit to drive in New Hampshire?
Possibly.  However, you should be aware that most states require you to be at least 15½ years old before you can get an instruction permit.  We recommend that you contact the New Hampshire Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school such as Jack Driving School to find out exactly what the minimum age requirement is in New Hampshire.
Do you know if the laws in New Hampshire require new teen-aged drivers to successfully complete a behind-the-wheel training course in addition to a driver ed classroom or online course?
The laws vary from state to state, but many states do require you to enroll in a driver training course with "hands-on" practice in addition to a drivers education classroom or online course.
New Hampshire's DMV has told me that I need to take a driver training course. Do you know if Jack Driving School offers this course or not?
Jack Driving School does offer the behind-the-wheel training course that New Hampshire requires all new teen-aged drivers to take.  For more information about the courses Jack Driving School offers, we recommend that you contact Jack Driving School directly.
What type of driver ed do I need before New Hampshire will give me a driver's license?
Each state has its own requirements concerning drivers education, although you should know that most states now require all new, young drivers to register for a drivers education classroom or online course as well as a driver training course.  Jack Driving School may be able to help you meet the behind-the-wheel training requirement in New Hampshire.  Please contact either Jack Driving School or the New Hampshire DMV for more information.
Is it necessary for me to enroll in a behind-the-wheel training course in order to get my first New Hampshire driver's license?
Yes, it is.  All teen-aged drivers applying for their first driver's license in New Hampshire must complete a state-approved behind-the-wheel training course.
Will New Hampshire allow me to enroll in a driver training course before I actually get my learner's permit?
You will need to contact your state's DMV office to find out.  However, most states require that you obtain your instruction permit before you sign up with a driver training course.
