How do I know if Drive Pro, Inc. is licensed by Iowa's DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses?
While we do include Drive Pro, Inc.'s contact information in our driving school directory, we cannot say with certainty as to whether Drive Pro, Inc. is licensed by the State of Iowa.  We recommend that you either contact Drive Pro, Inc. directly or possibly the Iowa DMV to find out if Drive Pro, Inc. is a certified driver training school.
Do I have to take a behind-the-wheel training course? Can't my parents just give me my behind-the-wheel training?
There are some states that do allow parents or guardians to provide their teen-aged kids' required driver training in order to obtain a driver's license.  However many states do not allow any type of substitution for attending a professionally-taught behind-the-wheel training course.  We suggest you contact your state's DMV to find out what the laws are in your state regarding behind-the-wheel training.
I don't know how to drive using a manual-shift. Will Drive Pro, Inc. have an automatic-shift car available that I can use for my behind-the-wheel training?
Since you're enrolling in a Clear Lake Iowa driver training class, chances are good that you don't know how to drive either a manual-shift OR an automatic!  However, you should let Drive Pro, Inc. know what your preference is before enrolling in their behind-the-wheel class.  That way you'll know for sure they will accommodate you.
The area in which I live is mostly undeveloped--very few paved roads and mountains are all around. Will Drive Pro, Inc. be able to teach me how to drive safely on bumpy terrain as well as in a city or town?
Considering that you live in a remote area, chances are excellent that a local driving school like Drive Pro, Inc. will want you to be able to drive safely on unpaved roads and other types of bumpy terrain.  You may wish to contact Drive Pro, Inc. to find out exactly what their driver training course includes before enrolling in their training course.
Now that I'm 14, will Iowa allow me to get an instruction permit to drive?
Not likely.  Most states require residents to be at least 15 or 15 1/2 years old before applying for a learner's permit.  We recommend that your contact the Iowa DMV office or a Iowa-approved driver training institute such as Drive Pro, Inc. to learn more about the minimum driving age requirement in Iowa.
Do I have to take a Clear Lake Iowa classroom or online drivers education course before I can register for a behind-the-wheel training course through Drive Pro, Inc.?
This requirement varies from state to state but most states do mandate new teen-aged drivers to take BOTH a classroom-based driver education course (generally 30 hours in length) AND a behind-the-wheel training course.  You should ask Drive Pro, Inc. if they offer one or both programs.
