Omega Driving SchoolFAQ's

Since Omega Driving School appears on your website, does this mean they've been approved by the Texas DMV to offer driver training courses?
The list of driving schools on our webpage is provided as a convenience to our customers only.  We CANNOT guarantee that every single school listed is fully-certified by the Texas DMV.  You may want to call Omega Driving School directly to find out if they offer a state-certified behind-the-wheel training course.
I've been told that either of my parents can monitor my behind-the-wheel training, so I don't have to attend a Dallas Texas driving school like Omega Driving School to fulfill my behind-the-wheel training requirement. Do you know if that's true or not?
You will need to contact the Texas DMV or a state-approved driver training school like Omega Driving School to find out.  Some states do allow parent-taught driving, but many states do not.
I have no clue how to drive a manual-shift vehicle. What happens if Omega Driving School makes me train on a manual-shift vehicle?
Considering the fact you are a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about operating ANY type of vehicle....manual OR automatic!  If you prefer to do your behind-the-wheel training with an automatic-shift vehicle, you may want to call Omega Driving School and let them know before you enroll in their driver training course.  That way you'll know for certain whether Omega Driving School can accommodate you before you pay them any money.
I live in a very remote area, where there are mountains and a lot of dirt roads. Do you know if Omega Driving School offers training for driving in rural areas like where I live instead of just driving on smooth, paved roads in city areas?
Since you live in a remote area, a local driving school such as Omega Driving School will tailor your driver training to handle the conditions in your area.
Are 14-year-olds eligible to apply for a learner's permit in Texas?
Although a few states allow teen-agers to begin practicing how to drive at 14, most states have set the minimum age for which to receive a learner's permit at either 15 or 15½.  You will need to contact the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school like Omega Driving School to find out what the minimum age for driving is in Texas.
I live in Dallas Texas. Does the law say I have to enroll in both a drivers education classroom or online course and a driver training course in order to be fully-licensed here?
Each state has its own laws in regards to licensing procedures.  However, most states do mandate that new, teen-aged drivers successfully complete both a behind-the-wheel training course plus either a drivers education online course or drivers education classroom course .
If I need to enroll in a Dallas Texas driver training program, can Omega Driving School help?
Yes.  Omega Driving School offers driving courses in Dallas Texas.  For more information about the type of driver training Omega Driving School offers and the training schedule, you should contact them directly.
I live in Dallas Texas. What requirements must I meet to be able to get my first Texas driver's license?
It depends on the particular laws of Texas, but most states require teen-aged first-time license applicants to successfully complete both a drivers education classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course.  Omega Driving School may offer courses which would fulfill the driver training requirement, however you will need to contact them directly to find out exactly what types of courses they offer.
Do I have to take a Dallas Texas driver training course in order to get a driver's license?

Is it okay for me to enroll in a driver training class in Texas before I receive my Texas learners permit to drive?
