Learner's Permit holders must always be accompanied by a licensed driver (21 or older) between 5am and 11pm. After those hours, the supervising driver must be their parent/guardian. Provisional license holders driving between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. must be accompanied by a licensed parent/guardian (unless traveling to or from work or to a school activity).
Passenger rules
Provisional license holders may carry only one (1) non-immediate family passenger who's under 18 years of age between the hours of 11pm and 5am unless accompanied by a parent/guardian.
